The Building Research Journal is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Institute of Construction and Architecture, Slovak Academy of Sciences, focused on theoretical, numerical and experimental problems of structural mechanics, design of metal, concrete and wood structures, the effects of wind, earthquake and wave loadings on structures, fluid- and soil-structure interactions, structural optimization, safety, reliability and control of structures, technology and physicochemical mechanics of new structural materials as well as the problems of daylighting, acoustics and hygrothermal performance of structures.
