The ACCNS Journal for Community Nurses is the only journal specialising in community nursing in Australia. Its purpose is to make available information on activities, issues and research related to community nursing, and to provide a forum for debate. The journal publishes papers from nurses, particulary those working in home care, community primary health care and community health promotion, and also publishes papers from other disciplines. Articles are related to the unique role of community nurses in the provision of health care, achievements in continuous quality improvements, innovations in research and education, best clinical and management practices and network development to advance community nursing. Papers also cover all areas of children's health, adult health and mental health.
