The aim of this journal is to expose its readers to the scientific opportunities and industrial potential presented by various kinds of plasmas, including reactive and gaseous plasmas, and condensed plasmas such as molten salts, liquid metals, and solid electrolytes.The unifying scientific theme is the characterization of the interactions between charged particles modified by many-body effects such as screening and correlation. An appropriate balance will be sought between basic science and technological applications.
