Anuar de Lingvistica si Istorie Literara

A journal of the "A. Philippide" Institute of Romanian Philology (Iasi) within the Romanian Academy, "Anuar de lingvisticã si istorie literarã" continues the philology series of "Studii si cercetãri stiintifice"- Filologie, Iasi (1950 - 1963). In 1964 it was entitled "Anuar de filologie". It was given the present name in 1965. Between 1981 - 1995 two parallel series were published: A. Linguistics, B. Literary History. Starting with the present issue, the two series get united into one volume. "Anuar de lingvisticã si istorie literarã" publishes studies in general linguistics, in the Romanian language (the history of the language, lexicology, dialectology, onomastics, stylistics), in Romanian philology (in literary history, theory, and critics, in folklore). "Anuar de lingvisticã si istorie literarã" also includes the headings: Discussions, Notes and Documents, Reviews and Bibliography; the Commentary deals with the activity of the researchers of the departments of the Institute; it also refers to the collaborators' activity as well as to the scientific and cultural meetings organized by or with the participation of the "A. Philippide" Institute only.
