The journal publishes original papers from the area of general and special psychiatry concerned with problems of theoretical and special psychiatry. Published papers are from the discipline of psychology, psychiatric sexuology, psychosomatic medicine and marginal disciplines, applied and theoretical psychotherapy, clinical and experimental psychopharmacology, incl. functions of receptor and neurotransmitter systems, history of psychiatry, interesting case-histories. The journal also contains information on congresses, symposia and conferences on psychiatric problems and reviews of publications . Announcements of important international and national congresses and other activities are also published and important anniversaries are remembered.
