Folia Geobotanica covers the broad topics of plant ecology, vegetation science and plant systematics, focusing primarily on plant species in a structured environment. Apart from regular papers, the journal also publishes book reviews and Forum discussion papers that raise important topics of broader interest. Occasionally, Special issues may be published on various topics in plant ecology, and plant systematics. An international Editorial Board, and a well-developed review procedure help to guarantee the high quality of the papers published. Folia Geobotanica is co-published with the Institute of Botany, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
