The journal is focused in particular on postgraduate training and information on the present state and development in gynaecology in the Czech Republic and abroad. The journal publishes original papers, survey articles, selected case-histories, reviews, topics from the literature, interesting experience from practice and book reviews. The journal also brings selected abstracts of papers presented at congresses and conferences held in the Czech Republic and abroad and papers concerned with the organization of medical care of women. The readers are also continually informed on the activities of professional gynaecological societies.
