Préhistoires méditerranéennes est une revue multi-supports à comité de lecture émanant de l'université d’Aix-en-Provence. Elle fait suite, depuis 2009, à la revue Préhistoire Anthropologie Méditerranéennes (PAM), fondée en 1982. Elle a vocation à accueillir toute contribution originale ayant pour sujet la préhistoire des espaces méditerranéens. Son ambition est de refléter la multiplicité des pratiques de la discipline — de la taphonomie à l’art rupestre — dans la diversité des espaces méditerranéens — géographique, culturelle et sociale. La revue publie en flux continu des contributions en français et en anglais regroupées chaque année dans une édition papier. Elle propose, en outre, sous la forme de suppléments, des numéros thématiques. Préhistoires méditerranéennes is a journal published on a number of supports, with a peer-review committee based at the Université d’Aix-en-Provence. In 2009, the journal took over from the Préhistoire Anthropologie Méditerranéennes (PAM), which was founded in 1982. It is open to all original contributions focussing on the prehistory of Mediterranean territories. Its ambition is to reflect the multiplicity of the discipline’s activities—from taphonomy to cave art—across the Mediterranean, and covering the full diversity of its geographical, cultural and social contexts. The journal publishes a constant stream of contributions in French and English, which are collated each year in a paper edition. It also offers theme issues as supplements.
