L’Uomo Società Tradizione Sviluppo has resumed its publication after a 13-year interruption. Founded in 1976, L’Uomo has been the first “frankly ethnological” periodical within the Italian stage. The new series is characterised by its continuity with the previous experience, based on a methodological accuracy and strong anchoring to the ethnographical tradition. It claims the inescapable connection between theoretical elaboration and field test in anthropology, both for a deep reflexive and epistemological awareness and for a fruitful interaction with social and historical disciplines, in a perspective of union among human sciences.
