Setting - Quaderni dell’Associazione di Studi Psicoanalitici

The editorial activity of ASP began in 1990 with Quaderni dell’A.S.P, which, in 1996, became Setting. Thanks to a precise profile, it quickly established itself in the psychoanalytical sphere and in the debate surrounding the various contemporary forms of clinical psychoanalysis and their contexts. As of 2005 it has been published by FrancoAngeli. Paying close attention to the ''inseparable link'' between theory, clinical practice and research, and to the most creatively critical voices within psychoanalysis, infant research and neuroscience, Setting offers itself as a tool for a free and 'continuous' psychoanalytical training, rooted in the work of Freud; as a forum for debate between different approaches; as a means of dialogue with sciences of the brain and mind; and as a means of continuous revision and elaboration of the points of reference required by psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
