Paradigmi
ISSN (printed): 1120-3404. ISSN (electronic): 2035-357X.
Paradigmi was founded in 1983 by a group of Italian academics from various universities. Its previous Editors-in-Chief were Giuseppe Semerari, University of Bari (1983-1996), and Franco Bianco, University of Rome3 (1997-2006); the current Editor-in-Chief is Lia Formigari, University of Rome, "La Sapienza". There are three annual issues of about 208 pages. Each has a main section in which various authors focus on a single subject, with special regard to the mixing of theory and history. This is followed by two or more sections ("Saggi", "Fatti e libri", "Dossier", "Filosofia e spazio pubblico", "Archivio") containing discussions of relevant current themes, reviews of books and debates, and previously unpublished or rare philosophical texts. Open to different trends and traditions, Paradigmi is specially interested in the relationship between philosophy, the sciences and social practice.
