The International Journal of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy is dedicated to providing for both researcher and practitioner access to the most up-to-date information on Dr Habib Davanlooís revolutionary technique of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy and his new psychoanalytic system of short-term duration. This is radically different from any other form of psychotherapy or psychoanalysis and is capable of resolving the most complex pathogenic unconscious. The Journal will also present in-depth articles on the new metapsychology of the unconscious which is central to Davanlooís technique and furthermore on neurobiological dimensions and functional changes in brain activity utilizing neuro-imaging in response to the treatment. Each issue will contain original articles and reviews reports on theory and practice reviews of recent literature theoretical discussions and occasional brief reports.
