First published in 1982 Contemporary Economic Policy (CEP) publishes scholarly economic research and analysis on issues of vital concern to business government and other decision makers. Leading western scholars including three Nobel laureates are among CEP's authors. Edited transcriptions of distinguished panelists discussing vital national and international policy issues are a regular feature. Reflecting the international scope of the journal CEP recently published (April issue) edited comments from the 1998 Pacific Rim Allied Economics Organizations conference general session entitled Pacific Rim Development and the Global Economy.
