Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics
Bull Russ Acad Sci Phys

ISSN: 1062-8738.

BRAS: Physics is devoted entirely to the publication of the transactions of various Russian Academy of Sciences congresses, conferences, symposia and school-seminars in different fields of physics, thus providing access to a very large body of authoritative, advanced research results in pure and applied physics in Russia and the Former Soviet Union. Articles in the journal are usually complete and published nowhere else. In other cases, the papers are work-in-progress reports that may be published later in complete form in specialized journals.Contributors are affiliated for the most part with Russian Academy of Sciences Institutes, other leading physics research institutes throughout the FSU, and the major Russian universities. Papers are also coauthored by foreign collaborators. Each issue is devoted to the transactions of one or a couple of conferences, and within each annual volume there may be more than one issue devoted to the same subject. Frequent topics include: Nuclear spectroscopy and atomic nucleus structure, Nuclear physics, Luminescence, Electron microscopy, Cosmic-ray physics, Magnetic properties of materials, Emission electronics, Laser optics, Coherent and nonlinear optics, Physics of ferroelectrics, Ion-surface interaction, Nanophotonics, Physics of gas discharge, Clusters in plasmas and gases. This journal is an up-to-the-minute source of physics research results from the Russian-speaking world. In over 2000 pages annually the journal contains an enormous amount of information that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Truly, no major physics library can afford to be without the Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics.
