The aim of Natural Toxins is to publish original research papers short communications and critical review articles on the occurrence isolation identification and characterization of natural products with toxic activities. Particular emphasis is placed on evaluating the significance of the effects of such toxicants on human health. Areas of research covered by the journal include the biochemistry biosynthesis chemistry epidemiology immunology metabolism microbiology nutritional relevance pharmacology and pathophysiology of various classes of natural toxicants and the therapeutic applications of natural toxicants in medicine and biology. The editors welcome letters and correspondence and any announcements of conferences symposia or other items of interest to readers of the journal.
