MERJ is an international refereed journal that provides a forum for the publication of research on the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels. Submissions of high quality papers should normally be of general interest to an international readership, but papers exploring specifically Australasian issues, are welcome. Articles in which findings from empirical studies are reported, as well as non-empirical, theoretical papers are encouraged. No preference is given to any particular research methodology.
