World Englishes is committed to the study of global varieties of English in their distinctive cultural and sociolinguistic contexts. It is integrative in its approach to the study and teaching of world Englishes and provides an international outlook on three areas of research: language; literature; methodology of English teaching. The journal provides evaluative and critical articles and reviews on all major areas of English studies from cross-cultural perspectives. The "Comments/Replies" and "The Forum" sections promote open discussions and debate.
