Nordic Journal of Philosophical Logic
Nord J Phil Logic

ISSN (printed): 0806-6205. ISSN (electronic): 0806-6213.

Nordic Journal of Philosophical Logic is a new international journal edited at the Department of Philosophy, University of Oslo. The journal is published both electronically and in hard-copy. The strong tradition in Philosophical Logic in Scandinavia provides the foundation for NJPL, and makes it possible to create a journal with a broad scope. The journal's editorial and advisory committees consist of researchers mainly from Scandinavia, including both well-known senior researchers and doctoral students. NJPL aims to develop a broad and flexible editorial policy, seeking submissions in any of the areas associated either with Philosophical Logic or with the applications of logic in conceptual analysis. Both informal and formal submissions will be welcome, but in the latter case preference will be given to papers which make explicit the relevance of the technical issues to the treatment of philosophical problems. From time to time NJPL will also present special and invited contributions, such as the Skolem lectures held annually by distinguished researchers at the University of Oslo. Book reviews and critical notes will also be published. One of the first philosophical journals to make use of the potential provided by the Internet, NJPL provides the full text of every issue through the World Wide Web, reaching thousands of readers world-wide. This easy availability makes NJPL a highly attractive forum for publication. NJPL's address on the Web is http://www.hf.uio.no/filosofi/njpl/.
