Études Phénoménologiques

ISSN (printed): 0773-7912. ISSN (electronic): 2033-656X.

Discontinued in 2008. The Études Phénoménologiques was a peer-reviewed, biannual journal published by Éditions OUSIA, in collaboration with the Centre d’Études Phénoménologiques at the University of Louvain. Each issue was dedicated either to a body of work inspired by the phenomenological tradition, or to a discussion of current issues in phenomenological research. A "Varia" section of each issue contained studies on topics other than the major theme of the volume. The journal was open to many perspectives and was not a venue for any form of phenomenological orthodoxy. It's concern was to advance work in contemporary thought that echoed, renewed, or extended the tradition inspired by Husserl's famous slogan zu den Sachen selbst. It mainly published French language scholarship but also accepted studies in English. Established in 1985, Études Phénoménologiques ceased publication in 2008. Are all issues are now available here in electronic format.
