Diabetes/Metabolism Reviews is devoted to serving the community of clinicians and researchers by providing an ongoing update of clinical and basic scientific advances in the most important areas of diabetes and metabolism. Each issue presents regular reviews mini reviews commentaries and letters in the field of diabetes and metabolism. Both invited and unsolicited articles are considered for publication. All reviews are peer-reviewed. Contributors are renowned clinicians and researchers in the field and will report on and review their own work - in the context of the present state-of-the-art. The journal now publishes a section dedicated to the fields of genetics immunology prediction prevention intervention (including transplants) of type 1 diabetes with contributions edited in conjuction with the Immunology of Diabetes Society international. DMR also publishes information announcements or book reviews considered to be consistent with the aims and scope of the journal.
