Revue Quebecoise de Linguistique
ISSN (printed): 0710-0167. ISSN (electronic): 1705-4591.
Revue québécoise de linguistique disseminates, without discrimination, the research results of academics and graduate students from Quebec, the rest of Canada and abroad. Attesting to its mission is the broad make-up of the editorial and selection committees in terms of disciplines and geographical scope. The journal concerns itself with all linguistic sub-domains, except for certain aspects of applied linguistics, regarding which specific dissemination vehicles already exist. In promoting the advancement of knowledge and debates in the field of linguistics, it addresses not only linguists but, more generally, human sciences specialists and the well-informed public with respect to specific themes. In 1981, Revue québécoise de linguistique superseded Cahiers de linguistique founded in 1971 at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). It publishes primarily in French but does accept articles in English.
