Crux Mathematicorum with Mathematical Mayhem

ISSN (printed): 0705-0348. ISSN (electronic): 1496-4309.

The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is pleased to announce the amalgamation of Crux Mathematicorum with Mathematical Mayhem. Crux Mathematicorum is an internationally respected source of unique and challenging mathematical problems for teachers and students at senior secondary and undergraduate levels. Its "Olympiad Corner" is particularly useful to students preparing for senior contests. Mathematical Mayhem began as "a journal of high school and college level mathematics, written by and for students." With expository articles, hints of problem solving, IMO problems and solutions, and more, MAYHEM has kept communication alive amongst IMO alumni, team members and interested students. The union of these two quality problem-solving journals will give CRUX readers the benefit of additional high school level material, without any decrease in each of the present sections; MAYHEM readers and contributors will gain the broad, international exposure currently maintained by CRUX. CRUX with MAYHEM has 64 pages per issue with useful and stimulating problems to challenge all readers, from interested high school students to senior undergraduate students, and their teachers. Readers with articles or problems and solutions for publication can send their submissions to one of the editors.
