Nyelv-és Irodalomtudományi Közlemények
The first issue of the journal Nyelv-és Irodalomtudományi Közlemények (NyIrK) appeared in 1957, under the same name (English: Journal of Linguistics and Literature). It is now published in one volume a year, consisting of 2 issues with a total average of pages yearly of around 200 pages. It is indexed or abstracted in Magyar Nyelv, Magyar Nyelvõr, Magyar Nyelvjárások (Hungary). It is also reviewed in Helikon, Látó (Romania). The journal publishes original papers written in Hungarian, in any area of linguistics and literature. The topics cover the following branches: dialectology, onomastics, grammar, phonetics-phonology, lexicology-lexicography, philology, general linguistics, theory of literature, bibliographical information and literary research, studies in the history of literature and in translation. In addition to presenting research papers, NyIrK publishes the proceedings of international conferences held in Romania, survey articles, book reviews etc. The Editors will put strong emphasis on originality of the papers. All manuscripts are strictly refereed and only papers of high quality are accepted for publication. The journal is addressed to all literati, linguists, folklorists, historians of literature and civilization.
