The Review is sponsored by the ISLE (Legal Documentation and Research Institute), a foundation which boasts a wealth of high-level scientific research and debates, concerning the major issues regarding development of institutions in the Italian Republic. The Review, which became a reality after the 1948 Charter was implemented, tackles the problems of public systems, from both application of law in force and its theoretical re-establishment viewpoints, through continuous updating of new developments. Finally, special attention is paid to new outlooks, a survey of which is presented, covering all opinions in the cultural world and active constitutional policy. 1996 sees the Review back in the hands of its original Publishers, Giuffré, and has been provided with a Scientific Committee, formed by leading Italian Law makers and publishers. Following its ancient tradition and by generously availing itself of new synergies, the Review is mainly directed at scientific communities, public bodies and institutions, as well as operators in the fields of law, government organisations, districts, local authorities, courts of law and non-subordinate professions, including the production and working worlds.
