Il Nuovo Saggiatore

Il Nuovo Saggiatore can be considered both a scientific journal of review articles and the bulletin of the Italian Physical Society. The Bulletin began publication in 1956 as bimonthly report for all the members and for almost thirty years it maintained the rather limiting role of internal report for the Society. In 1985 it was completely renewed to meet ampler requirements and was named Il Nuovo Saggiatore. It mainly publishes in Italian news concerning recent studies from Italian and foreign Universities and scientific laboratories, as well as results from industrial laboratories, thus stirring the debates on up-to-date cultural and scientific topics. In 1990 it incorporated the review Fisica e Tecnologia (Physics and Technology), another journal of the Italian Physical Society, which by that time ceased publication.
