Ottagono is now published monthly. Now more than ever Ottagono has become a full-fledged exponent of the "design system", tackling the complex integration of design, communications and marketing. Ottagono provides a 360° view of the world of design. The principal segment of the review - decorating and accessories for the home and office - is backed by interviews with great designers, news of the most important design schools in Italy and around the world, the very popular New Designer section, plus reports on the recent salons, competitions, prizes, and international trade fairs. Ottagono - whose articles are published in English and Italian - has been edited since 1991 by Aldo Colonetti, scientific director of the European Design Institute. Since 1998, the magazine has been published by Editrice Compositori, a publishing house specialising in art and architecture. With a subscription circulation in 65 countries around the world, Ottagono is now distributed by RCS.
