The goal of the serial Advances in Catalysis is to present comprehensive reviews of lasting value in the field of catalysis. The scope of the serial covers all aspects of catalysis and includes heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, and biocatalysis. The editors especially welcome contributions that integrate these subfields and represent the field of catalysis as a whole. Contributions may vary in length but authors are expected to review the literature of their subject thoroughly, broadly, and critically, placing the reported work on the foundation of fundamental principles and in a perspective that helps readers to understand the literature and read it insightfully. Accounts of work focused on the authors' own work are not appropriate for Advances in Catalysis.
