The Bogoslovska smotra (Theological Review) is a scientific journal published by the Catholic Faculty of Theology, University of Zagreb. It is one of the oldest Croatian scientific journals. It is primarily directed to academic papers relating to the field of theology and sciences related to theology, particularly philosophy. It publishes articles that deal with religious questions in general and in particular Christian issues. The periodical has an inter-disciplinary nature and is open to the thinking of scientists and of course, their cooperation in all fields of science. Its currentness is significant particularly today when many theological issues present a challenge to various other fields of science and when theology shows interest for these fields and its approach enriches events in these same fields (pedagogy, psychology, sociology, literature, law, natural and technical sciences). The Bogoslovska smotra publishes articles in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish. The periodical is co-financed by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
