The Journal of Laboratory Medicine reports on new developments in the various disciplines of laboratory medicine, a field that has seen rapid scientific and technical changes over the last 35 years. The journal addresses both the clinician and the research scientist with original research papers and review articles, as well as short communications on the newest developments in prevention, and diagnostic and therapeutic control. Particular focus is placed on the assessment of diagnostic and clinical reference values and the evaluation of trends and limits.
