The Journal of Neurocytology publishes research papers (and occasionally reviews and letters) dealing with the structure and function of nervous tissue. The scope of the Journal is wide: it embraces the organization and fine structure and the associated molecular biology biochemistry cytochemistry biophysics physiology and pharmacology of neurons receptor and glial cells synapses and other intercellular specializations in vertebrates and invertebrates under normal experimental and pathological conditions.
