ISSN (printed): 0280-6509. ISSN (electronic): 1600-0889.
Tellus B: Chemical and Physical Meteorology is one of the most respected journals in the field of meteorology and atmospheric sciences. Tellus dates back to 1949. In 2012, Tellus B and its sister journal Tellus A: Dynamic Meteorology and Oceanography switched to the open access publishing model. At the same time, all back files were made freely available, turning these two journals into a treasure trove of current and past atmospheric research.Tellus B aims to provide a broad forum for researchers across a number of scientific disciplines to communicate recent discoveries and novel theories about the chemical and physical conditions of the atmosphere and their interactions with cryosphere, oceans and terrestrial systems. Tellus B accepts papers on all aspects of atmospheric chemical cycling related to Earth science processes including: air/surface exchange processes; long-range and global transport and dispersion; aerosol science; chemical reactions; cloud physics and chemistry related to – cloud radiative effects, physical/chemical transformation and wet removal; biogeochemical cycles of carbon and other atmospheric constituents important to climate, air quality and the environment.
