Revision's statement of purpose emphasizes the transformative dimensions of current and traditional thought and practice. Its publisher supports several psychology journals, and this journal examines human dealings in relation to others, to nature, and to spirituality. More scholarly and philosophical than other New Age titles, it accepts a variety of perspectives including Western and Eastern, feminine and masculine, intellectual and spiritual. It is less inclined, however, to describe the more practical aspects of New Age living (Katz).
