International Studies in Philosophy is a peer-reviewed journal published four times each year by the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Philosophy, Interpretation, and Culture, at Binghamton University. The journal is concerned with questions that cannot be addressed from the standpoint of a single discipline. Of particular importance are recent developments in history, theory, and practice that promise to stretch the boundaries of philosophy and transform the discipline: post-critical continental philosophy; feminist philosophy; gay, lesbian, and queer studies; multicultural studies, postcolonial theory, and critical race theory; critical social theory; and cultural critique, including aesthetic, representational, and ecological practices. Originally established as Studi Internazionali di Filosofia, this journal has been published as International Studies in Philosophy since 1974.
