In it's 16th year of publication, Information Development reports on current developments in the provision, management, and use of information throughout the world. With particular emphasis on the information needs and problems of developing countries, it also deals with both the development of information systems, services and skills and with the role of information in personal and national development. The content of the journal ranges from reports on new products and services, CDS/ISIS Information, Web development information, articles on key people, major projects and developments from around the world plus forthcoming events. Recent articles have ranged from Digital Services and Information in Southern Africa, Development of Intelligent Information Retrieval in China to Co-operation on the Web: trends and practices in the development sector.
