The European Management Journal aims to present the latest thinking and research on major management topics. Whilst the emphasis is on practical aspects of management, articles will be published which have a fundamental basis in sound research or experience. Whilst a major focus of the Journal is on the European Union countries and management issues connected with it, increasingly, global concerns and conceptual topics will be covered. The Journal does not take a narrow view of business and management and will publish in other disciplines if they contribute significantly to problems considered by managers and researchers. Most of the format of the European Management Journal will be the classical article, but experimentation will be made in ways of presenting important material like Case Studies, Interviews and Briefings. The journal will also continue its attempt to be at the forefront of electronic production and reader access.
