Annual Reports on the Progress of Chemistry is published in three sections, each providing comprehensive coverage of the most recent developments in the classical fields of chemistry research. Section A covers inorganic chemistry. Every year, all the elements are reviewed, as is progress in organometallic and co-ordination chemistry, inorganic materials science, inorganic mechanisms and bio-inorganic chemistry. Section B covers organic chemistry. The full range of research from theoretical organic chemistry through reaction mechanisms and synthetic methodology to natural products and bio-organic chemistry is included. Section C covers physical chemistry and chemical physics. Theoretical and spectroscopic work, materials and catalytic chemistry, thermodynamics and kinetics are covered, each in a vast array of approaches. Each volume is organised into short, easily accessible chapters written by those working in the field. A considerable depth of information is provided to help readers through the most recent literature on the advances in each genre. This approach provides a full guide to complete areas of chemistry in one bound volume ñ probably a unique service in the current literature. With all three sections, a mini library of research across all of chemistry is provided every year!
