Discontinued in 2002. The International Children's Rights Monitor is an international children's rights news magazine. It was initiated as a quarterly publication of DCI in 1984 as DCI's major tool for making known problems and responses in the children's rights field. Defence for Children International (DCI) is an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded as an international movement in 1979. It seeks to ensure on-going systematic and concerted international action to promote and protect the rights of the child. The Monitor now to be published in co-operation with Kluwer Law International contains articles on current children's rights issues as well as regular columns with information about the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child NGO activities and recent publications in the field of children's rights. The Monitor will keep you abreast of all important developments in the children's rights field worldwide.
