The Journal of Contemporary African Studies is an interdisciplinary biannual journal of research and writing in the human sciences - economics, political science, international affairs, military strategy, modern history, law, sociology, education, industrial relations, urban studies, demography, social anthropology, literature, development studies and related fields. The journal seeks to promote a scholarly understanding of developments and change in Africa. All articles are independently refereed, but the editors are responsible for the final selection of contents of the journal. Special rates are available for individual African scholars.
