Published/Hosted by American Craft Council.
The American Craft celebrates the modern makers who shape the world around us. Presenting unknown innovators and artistic stalwarts, American Craft connects the disparate worlds of art, industry, fashion, architecture and design, giving an entirely new voice to the craft community. The magazine originated in 1941 as Craft Horizons, the title changed to AMERICAN CRAFT in 1979 and has been continuous publication since the 1940s. Galleries are major advertisers in the magazine, creating a vivid picture of the marketplace. Leading education centers also advertise in AMERICAN CRAFT. A benefit of membership in the Council, AMERICAN CRAFT enjoys a broad readership, and is available in many school and public libraries as well as on newsstands.
