Neuro-Orthopedics is a peer-reviewed journal related to disorders injuries and malformations of the spine. Neuro-Orthopedics deals with the diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation of spinal problems. The diagnostic section covers neurology clinical neurophysiology and the imaging of the spine and the spinal nervous system. Another important subject is the treatment either with surgical or conservative methods. There is particular interest in carefully designed follow-up studies. Papers are accepted in the field of rehabilitation as well. The aim of this journal is also to provide a forum for new technique e.g. minimal invasive surgery computer assisted surgery and the development of new devices in spinal instrumentation. Today and increasingly in the future the costs of various treatments have to be considered. Papers concerning these issues are requested. Neuro-Orthopedics favours a multidisciplinary approach to spinal disorders and welcomes papers relating to orthopedics neurosurgery traumat ology neurology rheumatology rehabilitation clinical neurophysiolog neuroradiology anatomy and biomechanics. It is the intention that these papers will contribute to the refinement of knowledge and techniques and will stimulate research in the entire field of the spine. Discontinued.
