The Annales des Ponts et Chaussées deals with the practice of engineers (city planning engineers and professionals, construction and simulation engineers) and the relationship between science and technique on the one hand, and the citizen and society on the other.The Annales include either in-depth articles, or articles pertaining to a scientific application or particular innovation, on condition they include a focus on the evolution of the profession and the practices resulting from it, or deal with their impact on society. The Annales des Ponts et Chaussées also deals with teaching and training questions and offer articles on the major contemporary issues that concern the engineering profession.
