Publication of the Instituto de Filosofía, Universidad de Antioquia. Estudios de Filosofía is the magazine edited by the Philosophy Institute of the University of Antioquia. It is published every semester although at times the Editorial Committee determines upon the publication of an extraordinay issue. Founded in 1980, it is considered as a specialized media for the encouragement and the diffusion of research work in all the areas of Philosophy, both of colombian researchers and of members of the international philosophical community. The institutionality of “Estudios de Filosofía” guarantees its orientation towards the development of philosophical investigations inside our country and the strenghtening of a communication culture, under the principle of the respect for liberty of expression and for the liberty to do research. It is a publication directed to a public of specialists in Philosophy but also to all those who have an interest in contemporary intellectual debates.
