Opinião Pública is a bi-annual publication of the Center for Studies on Public Opinion (CESOP) of the University fo Campinas, Brazil. Created in 1993, its main objective is to establish a specialized academic vehicle to publish articles about theory and methodology in the field of public opinion, political and social behavior, and midia studies. OPINIAO PÚBLICA also divulges national and international survey data on these research fields, wich are presented at the section TENDÊNCIAS. Until 1999, Opinião Pública was a quadrimestral publication, and those volumes are organized in CD-Rom, that can be purchased at CESOP. The idea of Opinião Pública as an instrument for strenghtening the field of behavior studies and methodology in social sciences is part of the academic project developed by CESOP.
