Discontinued in 1944. In 1963, AIAA was formed through the merger of the American Rocket Society and the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences. AIAA maintains the digitized journal content published by its two predecessor societies (1930-1962) and is proud to offer Astronautics published by the American Interplanetary Society, later known as American Rocket Society from 1932-1944.
