Discontinued in 1974. Continued by JAE (0149-2993). The JAE has for more than 56 years represented the ACSA, the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, as the flagship publication of this important architecture organization. In an effort to better serve our constituency, Barbara L. Allen, the fifth Executive Editor, created this on-line service to help authors and reviewers. We welcome comments and suggestions. The Journal of Architectural Education is published by Blackwell Publishing. It appears quarterly: September, November, February and May, with the September issue being the first issue of a new volume. The deadline for each issue usually falls six to eight months before publication, and depends upon many factors, including the number of articles already approved for publication, the integration of design work, book reviews, OP ARCH pieces, or a special theme issue.
