Papers which are only of descriptive kind and of local interest are not accepted. Apidologie is essentially aimed at scientists, students and also development departments and apiculturists working in the field of biology, pathology and ecology of bees, applied and fundamental entomology, pollination and pesticides. The accepted languages are English, French and German. The manuscripts are published in the original language with a detailed summary in the other two languages.
