Boletín Mexicano de Derecho Comparado

ISSN: 0041-8633.

The Mexican Bulletin of Comparative Law appeared in 1948 under the name of Bulletin of the Institute of Comparative Law, as a periodical review of the Institute. By an agreement of the University Council on December 15, 1967, the Institute of Comparative Law adopted the name of Legal Research Institute. That is the reason why the nomenclature of this publication was updated, adopting the name that it now bears. Since its creation the Bulletin is issued every four months periodically. The original idea of the Bulletin consisted in transmitting the knowledge of all the researchers in México and abroad the results of the investigations realized in the Institute. Also, it was considered important to make available to scholars, lawyers and the general public, relevant legal information. It should be noted that although for historical reasons the name of this law review refers to comparative law, the works published in it are not limited to the field of comparative law. On the contrary, the bulletin publishes original and unpublished works concerned the different areas of research belonging to all branches of law, having or not a comparative element.
