The Swiss Bulletin of Mineralogy and Petrology (SBMP) is published in three issues per year with papers of international level in mineralogy, petrography, geochemistry, structural geology, isotope geology, ore deposits, applied mineralogy and related fields. By concentrating on Alpine Mineralogy and Petrography and/or including regional aspects of Alpine belts the SBMP is complementary to the European Journal of Mineralogy. Only original papers, review articles and extended abstracts (from the SSMP annual meeting) are published. Thematic volumes are strongly supported. Articles may be written in German, French, Italian or - preferably - English
