A benchmark review and work tool that is both scientific and practical, Sauvegarde de l'Enfance serves as a valuable link between social workers who, through their mutual determination, are involved in defining a policy for youth carried out in favor of our most vulnerable young people. It takes into account the multi-disciplined, increasingly complex youth sector, as regards the growing failure of youth over the last few decades to fit in. It provides: technical and scientific research, essays on a wide variety of experiences, reports on the activities of regional associations, documentation on legislation, official texts, the activities of private organizations, conferences, etc., analyses and bibliographical references, special issues based on topics of importance. The review is meant to provide more of a forum for open debate, where different visions of a society showing more solidarity are expressed. Sauvegarde de l'Enfance is on the cutting-edge in terms of the concerns and problems posed by children and adolescents in difficulty within a socioeconomic environment that is constantly changing.
