Moscow University Chemistry Bulletin
Moscow Univ Chem Bull

ISSN: 0027-1314.

This journal publishes original articles, brief communications and reviews in most of the branches of modern chemistry. Chemistry Faculty members have been involved in studies of new semiconductors and high temperature superconductors, sophisticated synthesis of hundreds of new complex organic and organo-elemental compounds, new pharmaceuticals and new polymers with liquid crystal properties. They have also contributed significantly to the development of the modern theories of catalysis, photochemistry, electrochemistry and high dispersion systems. Moscow University Chemistry Bulletin is the front line periodical for dissemination of their results and publishes both theoretical and experimental papers under varying combinations of the following rubrics: Physical chemistry, Analytical chemistry, General and inorganic chemistry, Organic chemistry, Chemistry of natural compounds, Colloid chemistry, Radiochemistry, High pressure chemistry, Petroleum chemistry and organic catalysis, Electrochemistry, Chemical kinetics, Polymer chemistry, Laser chemistry. Many outstanding chemists are associated with the MSU Faculty of Chemistry. Among the most famous are Nobel Prize Laureate N.N. Semenov, founder of chain reaction theory, and A.N. Nesmeyanov, one of the founding fathers of modern organometallic chemistry. Many others have worldwide reputations in their respective fields, and their research and achievements have made a fundamental contribution to chemistry and established the Faculty of Chemistry as one of the oldest and the most advanced schools of chemistry in Russia.
